Coffee Bean Shaker Narrow Base Cabinet

Add useful storage in smaller kitchen spaces with our Coffee Bean Shaker narrow base cabinets, available in 9", 12", 15", 18", and 21" widths.

These cabinets are ideal for kitchen remodels, new construction, contractor installations, and layouts where a standard-width base cabinet will not fit.

The 9" base cabinet includes a single lower door only. Cabinets from 12" through 21" wide include a single top drawer and one lower door.

Each cabinet features durable plywood construction, a solid birch face frame, a rich Coffee Bean Shaker front, and 1-1/4" overlay construction.

The cabinets ship Ready to Assemble (RTA) with the hardware required for cabinet assembly.

These narrow base cabinets are especially useful beside appliances, at the end of a cabinet run, in smaller kitchens, or wherever a compact storage cabinet is needed.

Drawer and Door Configuration

Base cabinets from 12" through 21" wide include:

The 9" cabinet is configured with a single door only.

A small amount of wood glue is recommended when assembling the dovetail drawer box for additional long-term strength.

1-1/4" Overlay Coffee Bean Shaker Front

The 1-1/4" overlay design allows the doors and drawer fronts to extend beyond the openings in the face frame.

This reduces the amount of visible face frame and gives the cabinet front a cleaner, more finished appearance.

Only approximately 1/4" of face frame remains visible along the left and right sides of the doors and drawer fronts.

Approximately 1" of face frame remains exposed above the top drawer to provide clearance for varying countertop front-edge overhangs.

The recessed-panel Coffee Bean Shaker design works well in transitional, traditional, contemporary, and modern kitchens.

Adjustable Interior Storage

Each cabinet includes one adjustable 3/4" thick shelf.

The shelf and cabinet-box interior are protected with a clear UV finish, helping preserve the natural birch surface while providing durable everyday storage.

The lower cabinet area is useful for cookware, cleaning supplies, pantry items, small appliances, or other kitchen essentials.

Plywood and Solid Birch Construction

Coffee Bean Shaker base cabinets are built with durable plywood and solid birch components for everyday residential kitchen use.

Construction includes:

• 1/2" 7-ply plywood cabinet panels
• 3/4" solid birch face frame
• Natural birch plywood cabinet interior
• Finished natural birch rear interior surface
• Engineered plywood backside for added rigidity
• One adjustable 3/4" thick shelf
• Clear UV-protectant finish on the cabinet box and shelf

The natural birch interior provides a clean contrast with the Coffee Bean cabinet front.

Dovetail Drawer Construction

Cabinets from 12" through 21" wide feature a solid birch drawer box with dovetail joinery.

Dovetail construction provides a strong mechanical connection at the drawer corners and is widely used in quality cabinet drawer construction.

For assembly, adding a small amount of wood glue to the dovetail joints is recommended.

Full-Extension Soft-Close Drawer Glides

The drawer cabinets include full-extension soft-close undermount drawer glides, allowing the drawer to extend outward for easier access to items stored toward the back.

The undermount design keeps the drawer hardware largely out of view while the soft-close mechanism helps the drawer close smoothly and quietly.

Concealed Soft-Close Hinges

Cabinet doors include concealed European-style soft-close hinges for smooth, controlled operation.

The hidden hinge design helps maintain the clean appearance of the Coffee Bean Shaker cabinet front.

Coffee Bean Satin Finish

The cabinet door and drawer fronts feature a rich Coffee Bean satin finish that adds warmth and depth to the classic Shaker profile.

The cabinet interior remains natural birch with a clear protective finish.

Any exterior cabinet-box surface that remains visible after installation should receive the appropriate Coffee Bean matching skin panel and trim.

Toe Kick and Finished Exposed Sides

Exposed cabinet sides and visible toe-kick areas require matching Coffee Bean skin material or trim.

Use the appropriate finished skin panels wherever the natural cabinet box would otherwise remain visible after installation.

This provides a consistent finished appearance across the entire cabinet run.

Ready-to-Assemble Base Cabinet

These cabinets ship Ready to Assemble (RTA) and are well suited for:
