The wall cabinet is 12" deep. The false panel will cover the side of the 30" or 36" or 42" upper cabinet or the side of a standard base cabinet (not toe kick) without covering the side of the face frame. Easy to install.

The 23-1/4" x 30" panel is designed to cover the front of the dishwasher or the side panel of an exposed lower cabinet.
