Outside corner molding is used on the backside of any exposed cabinet where plywood edges would be exposed.

All exposed visible areas are finished Natural color white oak.

Construction & Finish — Natural White Oak Shaker

Doors and drawer fronts are 3/4" solid oak frames with a 1/4" plywood center panel, protected by a durable Clear UV finish that showcases the natural white oak grain. The face frame is 1-1/2" wide x 3/4" thick solid oak with the same Clear UV finish.

The cabinet box is 1/2" 7-ply plywood. The interior is natural birch with a clear finish, and shelving is coated with a clear UV protectant finish. Cabinet sides are factory-finished in painted white; oak-matched skin panels are required on any exposed side so every visible surface matches the natural oak fronts. Toe kick skin is also required to match the exterior.

Installer note: the cabinet underside ships unfinished. A diligent installer will finish the bottom edge for a fully detailed installation.

Drawer boxes are solid wood with 1/2" thick sides and dovetail joints, riding on DTC D-Motion face-frame full-extension soft-close undermount slides with Peg Lock. Doors swing on European-style hidden soft-close hinges. Cabinet hardware carries a lifetime warranty. A small amount of glue is recommended when assembling drawer boxes.
