Natural Color Square White Oak Shaker Skin Panel Cabinet Side & Back - Molding Trim Pieces 1-1/4" Overlay

• Here's the revised description with added emphasis on the True Square Edge Shaker Door Style, which helps differentiate it from traditional shaker doors with eased or beveled inside edges.

h2>Natural Oak Shaker Cabinet Skin Panels/h2>

Our 3/16" thick Natural Oak Shaker Skin Panels are designed to provide a finished, furniture-quality appearance wherever cabinet sides or backs remain visible after installation. These matching panels conceal exposed cabinet surfaces and create a seamless transition between cabinetry and surrounding spaces.

Each skin panel is finished on one side with our Natural White Oak finish and is designed to perfectly complement our True Square Edge Shaker cabinetry. Unlike traditional shaker doors that feature softened or beveled inside edges, the True Square Edge Shaker door style features sharp, clean lines and crisp inside corners that highlight the natural beauty of the oak grain while creating a modern, architectural appearance.

  Panel Sizes and Applications

  12" Wide Skin Panels

Designed for finishing exposed sides of wall cabinets.

  24" x 34-1/2" Skin Panels

Sized specifically for base cabinet applications where cabinet ends remain visible.

  24" x 96" Skin Panels

Ideal for pantry cabinets, wall oven cabinets, refrigerator enclosures, and other tall cabinet installations.

  34-1/2" x 96" Island Skin Panels

Used to cover exposed cabinet backs on kitchen islands and peninsulas, creating a clean, finished appearance that matches the cabinet fronts.

  Complete Your Installation

One of the most important finishing details in any kitchen project is properly covering exposed cabinet sides, backs, and toe kick areas. Matching skin panels help create a custom built-in appearance while maintaining consistent color and wood grain throughout the kitchen.

For island and peninsula installations, we recommend adding Outside Corner Molding (OCM8) to finish exposed corners where cabinet sides meet visible plywood edges. This creates a professional furniture-style appearance while protecting exposed edges.

Many homeowners, contractors, and designers also incorporate shiplap, beadboard, or decorative wall treatments on island backs to create a distinctive focal point within the kitchen.
