Rift Oak construction

Rift Cabinets are a custom line of assembled Custom Overlay cabinets: real hand-selected rift oak doors and drawer fronts, quality hardware, three door styles (Shaker, Shaker II, Miami II) and 14 stain colors, all at one price, delivered to your home or jobsite at no charge.

• Shaker: standard overlay with the face frame showing. Five-piece door, flat slab drawer front.
• Shaker II: full overlay. Five-piece door and drawer fronts.
• Miami II: full overlay. Narrow square frame around a flat panel.

Door styles

Shaker

• Mortise and tenon door frame
• 1/2" solid flat panel inset into the door frame
• Door stiles and rails: 2-3/16"
• Doors over 42" tall come with a center rail
• Drawer fronts: flat slab, all sizes
• 3/4" thick, Shaker outside profile

Shaker II

• Mortise and tenon door frame
• 1/2" solid flat panel inset into the door frame
• Door stiles and rails: 2-3/4"
• Doors over 42" tall come with a center rail
• Five-piece drawer front with a mortise and tenon frame
• Drawer fronts 6-3/4" and taller: 1/2" solid flat panel; under 6-3/4": 1/4" veneer or HDF panel
• Drawer front stiles: 2-3/4"; rails: 2-3/16"
• 3/4" thick, Shaker outside profile

Miami II

• Mitered finger-joint door with wood dowel
• 1/2" solid flat panel inset into the door frame
• Door stiles and rails: 3/4" on the face, 1-3/4" on the back
• Five-piece mitered finger-joint drawer front with wood dowel, 5-5/8" and taller
• 1/2" solid flat panel inset into the drawer front frame
• Drawer front stiles and rails: 3/4" on the face, 1-3/4" on the back
• 3/4" thick, Miami outside profile

Cabinet box

• End panels: 3/4" plywood substrate with 2-sided UV natural birch
• Shelves: 3/4" plywood substrate, UV natural birch 2 sides, full depth and fully adjustable
• Hanging rails: 3/8" plywood
• Drawers: 5/8" hardwood dovetail drawer boxes. The drawer front is screwed to the sub-front. 1/4" plywood drawer bottoms, UV natural birch
• Drawer guides: full-extension undermount soft-close
• Bottoms: 3/4" natural UV birch, 2 sides
• I-beams: 3/4" natural UV birch, 2-sided, 4" wide strips dadoed into the end panels and frame, stapled through the back
• Toe kicks: 4-1/2" high x 3-1/8" deep, 3/4" plywood natural UV birch 2-sided, inset on all base and tall cabinets
• Hinges: soft-close, 6-way adjustable, fully concealed clip-on hinges
• Back panel: 1/4" UV natural birch, dadoed into the ends, stapled and glued

Standard depth and height: wall cabinets 12-3/4" deep; base cabinets 24" deep x 34-1/2" high.

Stains: Brandy, Charcoal, Chestnut, Cinnamon, Cloud, Dusk, Espresso, Fog, Mocha, Natural, Pecan, Smoke, Toffee and Wheat. Every door style and stain is the same price. Lifetime hardware warranty.

Sizing & fit

Custom sizes in 1/4" steps cost nothing extra: choose the nearest larger standard size, then set the finished size on the product page.

For 96" ceilings, tall cabinets must be ordered and shipped without the toe kick attached, so the cabinet can be stood up in the room. Choose “Ship toe kick loose” when you add a tall cabinet to your cart.

Before ordering, confirm your finished openings, appliance clearances, and any exposed cabinet sides that need matching skin panels, toe kick, or trim.

Production, delivery & assembly

Built to order. Cabinets arrive fully assembled and are delivered to your home or jobsite at no charge.

Not sure which stain? Sample doors are $45 each and take about 3 weeks from ordering.

Custom orders require a $1,500 minimum order. Every cabinet line carries a lifetime hardware warranty.
