The 1-1/4" Overlay Style we offer is a Semi-Custom Grade of cabinet with sizes available in 3" increments.

 Instructions for Assembly

1) Start by unboxing the materials of your cabinet. Separate the finished front pieces (Painted or Stained) from the toe kick side or wall cabinet sides, top and bottom pieces. Shelf pieces have finished edges.

2) Start with the back panel and insert a side and bottom panel. Take a wood screw and insert the screw into a predrilled hole at the back of the back panel. You will screw into the bottom piece which will enable you to have the three pieces stand in place.

3) Install two angle brackets as shown.

 

 

3) Turn cabinet to install second side (and top for wall cabinet)

Install brackets at interior. This is a good time to install the drawer glide "Boot". These are located inside the glide box. Push the boot into the predrilled holes and screw in place,

 

3) Install bottom of cabinet. Each panel gets two (2) metal corner brackets into locations with punched (marked) locations. 

4) Attach cabinet front.

5) Some of the cabinets will come with the corner bracket. 

 

6) Drawer Assembly. Start with the three sides, insert drawer bottom and then add the front section.

Place the drawer front onto the drawer parts. Hang the drawer over the edge of a solid table without any painted surface touching the table. Use a mallet or other solid object to gently secure the dovetails together.

Install drawer glide "clips".

7) Install toe kick using two brackets.

8) Install the pull out portion of the drawer glide. Enter the cabinet through the top and lower the glide into the cabinet. Push it out through the front and back to the "boot". 

Push onto the boot a portion towards back. The metal will sit about 1/3 way back on the face frame. There is a predrilled hole for the metal glide. Install glide.

Screw into place.

9) Install drawer. Pull out the smaller part of the glide that exits the cabinet towards the front. Both sides.

Place the drawer onto the extended glides. You will then extend the glide rail towards the clip to lock in. Lock down both sides.   

To install the drawer

Extend out the glides. Place the drawer box onto the glides. Place your hand on the glide and slide it out of the cabinet. The glide will click into place. Repeat other side.

10) Install the doors onto the cabinet.

Use the short screws to secure hinge onto the door. Using a long screw will go through the front finish - you do not want to do this.

Attach the door(s) onto the cabinet. Use the long silver wood screw with rounded head. Screw locations are punched into the side of the face frame. Single door cabinet can have the door attached to open either directions.

 11) Attach your door and drawer bumpers.

The doors and drawers can be adjusted using the adjustment screws on the doors and thumb wheels on the clip. With a little attention your doors and drawers will be nice and straight.

Your cabinet should now be assembled.

The "1-1/4" Overlay" style cabinet has doors and drawer fronts that are wider and taller than the opening in the face frame with a minimum of face frame showing. Only 1/4" of face frame is exposed left and right of the Door(s) / Drawer(s) and one inch (1") of face frame exposed on base cabinets above the top drawer to allow for varying front edge lip on countertops.

**All exposed sides of cabinetry are finished white. Skin panels not required. Toe kick required skin panels to match exterior color as well as cover seam between cabinets.

These Semi-Custom grade kitchen cabinets are suitable for both residential new construction and remodeling projects, and all necessary hardware for assembly is included (handles not included).
