This custom inset shaker microwave base cabinet is built to order in solid birch and painted in any of Sherwin-Williams' 1,500+ colors for one price — no color upcharge, ever. Widths run 27–30″, sized to the nearest 1/4″, with an open bay that brings the microwave down out of sight lines — off the countertop and out of the upper cabinets — plus a full-width drawer below on full-extension, undermount soft-close glides.
A finish smoother and tougher than site-painted cabinets
Every drawer front is finished in factory-baked UV-cured lacquer — a flawless, factory-smooth surface that resists chips, scratches, moisture, and yellowing far beyond any brush or spray finish applied in a home. It arrives fully cured, ready for daily kitchen duty from day one. The cabinet box and shelving are sealed in clear UV protectant.

- Face frame: 1″ solid birch hardwood; drawer front sits flush inside the frame (true inset construction)
- Drawer front: 7/8″ thick, five-piece, tongue-and-groove joinery
- Cabinet box: 5/8″ premium plywood — standard Golden Birch or White Premium Box
- Hardware: full-extension undermount soft-close drawer glides — concealed beneath the drawer box, so the drawer opens fully with no visible rails; lifetime hardware warranty, one-year manufacturer's warranty
