Three configurations
9" — single full height door. No drawer. One tall opening for trays, sheet pans, cutting boards, and the narrow things that have nowhere else to go. At 9" wide this closes the gap between an appliance and a wall without resorting to a dead filler panel — storage where most kitchens get a blank strip of painted wood.
12", 15", 18", 21" — drawer over a single door. One drawer with a 6-1/2" tall face above a single door with a 22" tall face. The narrow-run workhorses, sized to fill the spans between your sink base, your range, and your corners.
24", 27", 30", 33", 36" — drawer over two doors. One drawer with a 6-1/2" tall face above a pair of doors with 22" tall faces. Wide enough that the center stile disappears behind the overlay and the run reads continuous.
Every configuration includes one adjustable 3/4" shelf coated in a clear UV protectant finish. Skin panels are required for exposed sides and are painted to match the cabinet front.
What "1-1/4" overlay" means
Doors and drawer fronts sit on top of the face frame instead of inside it, wider and taller than the opening, covering all but a sliver. Only 1/4" of face frame shows to the left and right of each door and drawer front. On base cabinets, 1" of frame is exposed above the top drawer — deliberate, and there to clear the front edge lip of your countertop, which varies by material and edge profile.
Across a run of cabinets you get a nearly continuous face with minimal frame lines breaking it up.
The finish
Manhattan Cream in a factory-baked, water-based UV-cured lacquer with a satin sheen. Cured under UV lamps in a controlled line rather than air-dried on site, which is why it resists moisture, steam, and abrasion better than a field-applied finish.
How it's built
Solid birch and plywood, not veneer over composite. The face frame is 3/4" solid birch. Side panels are 1/2" 7-ply plywood, joined to the face frame with a French cleat and reinforced with a plywood side band. The interior is natural birch plywood in clear polyurethane, and the back panel is grade A finished natural birch over engineered plywood for rigidity. Corner brackets hold the box square during installation.
Drawer boxes are solid birch with dovetail joinery, running on full-extension soft-close undermount glides with peg lock. Use a small amount of glue when assembling the drawer box. Hidden European soft-close hinges. Hardware carries a lifetime warranty. California CARB2 compliant.
