Product description
Three Drawer Base Cabinet, 1-1/4" Overlay Shaker. 12" to 30" wide x 24" deep (24-3/4" including drawer front).
Drawers have replaced pull-out shelves in modern kitchens, and this is why. You see the whole contents at once instead of reaching past a door frame into a dark box. Ready to assemble, contractor grade A, in Manhattan Cream shaker.
What's in the box
Three drawers. A top drawer with a 6-1/2" tall face, and two lower drawers with 10-3/4" tall faces — the lower pair equal in size to each other, deep enough for pots, mixing bowls, and small appliances.
Every drawer box is solid birch with dovetail joinery, running on full-extension soft-close undermount glides with peg lock. Full extension means the back of the drawer comes all the way out to you. Glue the dovetails when you assemble.
Drawer base cabinets do not include shelving — the drawers are the storage. Skin panels are required for exposed sides and are painted to match the cabinet front.
What "1-1/4" overlay" means
Drawer fronts sit on top of the face frame instead of inside it, wider and taller than the opening in each direction, covering all but a sliver. Only 1/4" of face frame shows to the left and right of each drawer front. On base cabinets, 1" of frame is exposed above the top drawer — deliberate, and there to clear the front edge lip of your countertop, which varies by material and edge profile.
The three fronts stack with minimal frame lines between them and the run reads as one continuous face.
The finish
Manhattan Cream in a factory-baked, water-based UV-cured lacquer with a satin sheen. Cured under UV lamps in a controlled line rather than air-dried on site, which is why it resists moisture, steam, and abrasion better than a field-applied finish.
How it's built
Solid birch and plywood, not veneer over composite. The face frame is 3/4" solid birch. Side panels are 1/2" 7-ply plywood, joined to the face frame with a French cleat and reinforced with a plywood side band. The interior is natural birch plywood in clear polyurethane, and the back panel is grade A finished natural birch over engineered plywood for rigidity. Corner brackets hold the box square during installation.
Glides carry a lifetime warranty. California CARB2 compliant.

Before you order
All exposed exterior cabinet surfaces require skin panels and trim to finish, and toe kicks require skin panels matched to the cabinet front. Budget for these — they're what makes an installed run look built rather than assembled. All assembly hardware is included. Handles are not included.
FAQ block
Are drawer bases better than pull-out shelves?
For most kitchens, yes. A drawer gives you the full contents in one motion and carries load on undermount glides rather than a shelf riding inside a door opening. Drawers have largely replaced pull-outs in current kitchen design.
How many drawers and what sizes?
Three. A 6-1/2" top drawer and two 10-3/4" lower drawers, the lower pair equal to each other.
Does the drawer base include a shelf?
No. The drawers occupy the full interior.
How deep is the cabinet?
24" for the box, 24-3/4" including the drawer front.
Do the drawers pull all the way out?
Yes. Full-extension soft-close undermount glides with peg lock, lifetime warranty.
What widths are available?
12" through 30", in 3" increments.
